New Bombshell: Epstein Case Still Open, CIA Connection Suspected

Just days after the Trump administration publicly declared the Jeffrey Epstein saga “closed,” a newly released response to a Judicial Watch lawsuit is shattering that illusion—revealing that the FBI is still actively investigating the infamous financier and convicted sex trafficker. But that’s not the only shock: national security experts now claim the entire Epstein operation may have been a covert CIA intelligence op from the start.

According to BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales, the Department of Justice’s response to a Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act request raises more questions than it answers. Back in February, Judicial Watch requested records related to Epstein’s clients and associates—an effort that went ignored for months. It wasn’t until July 7 that the DOJ finally admitted the FBI’s “search efforts are ongoing,” suggesting there’s much more behind the curtain than the government wants the public to know.

“Is this all just a show?” Gonzales asked. “Is the DOJ pretending to close the case, while quietly keeping it alive to protect powerful people?”

Joining her was BlazeTV contributor Jaco Booyens, who offered a stark theory: “The Epstein operation from day one was a CIA op.” Booyens, who’s spent decades fighting human trafficking, said the ties stretch back to Robert Maxwell—father of Epstein’s longtime confidant Ghislaine Maxwell.

“Robert handled Jeffrey. He was the pipeline. Robert gets killed—thrown off his yacht. And now we’re told Epstein had no clients? It’s absurd,” Booyens said.

According to Booyens, there’s a reason the feds won’t release Epstein’s client list or expose the full extent of his criminal network: too many of the names are deeply tied to U.S. intelligence agencies and global power structures. “With the breadth of information, of national intelligence, of people involved—they will never, never release it,” he warned.

And the facts back him up. Epstein’s known connections to politicians, royalty, tech billionaires, and high-level government officials were well documented long before his death. But the public has yet to see a single official document listing clients, transactions, or intelligence briefings related to his sex-trafficking ring.

The Justice Department’s delay tactics have only intensified the scrutiny. Even as the FBI admits the case is technically still active, top Biden-era officials claimed just last week that the book had been closed. If that’s true, why is the FBI still searching?

For Booyens, the answer is simple: “They’re protecting their own.”

Gonzales pointed to the ongoing efforts by Judicial Watch to obtain transparency. “They’re doing what Congress won’t—fighting in court to expose the truth,” she said. “But how much longer will the DOJ be allowed to stall?”

In the meantime, speculation continues to swirl around Epstein’s death and the role of federal agencies in either enabling or covering up his operation. Ghislaine Maxwell is serving time, but has remained largely silent on the record. And none of Epstein’s known elite acquaintances have faced criminal charges.

Booyens concluded with a grim reminder: “Epstein was convicted as a human trafficker. That means he sold people to people—for sex. The idea that there were no buyers is as ridiculous as the idea that this is over.”

As more documents surface and the public demand for answers grows louder, the Epstein scandal may be far from finished. The only real question now is: how far up does it go?
