The Trump White House launched a new strategy this weekend to urge illegal aliens to leave the country on their own before being forcibly deported. In a striking new video posted on the official White House account, President Donald Trump and top administration officials laid out the choice in no uncertain terms: “Leave now or we will find you and deport you.”

The video, set to the iconic American song “Take Me Home, Country Roads” by John Denver, shows a person lounging on a couch watching a series of urgent video clips featuring Trump, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, Border Czar Tom Homan, and Border Patrol Chief Mike Banks.

In the montage, Trump declares, “People in our country illegally can self-deport the easy way, or they can get deported the hard way.” Kristi Noem follows by warning, “Leave now. If you don’t, we will find you and we will deport you, you will never…” before the footage cuts to another clip. Tom Homan adds, “Entering this country illegally is a crime and we’re not going to forgive it,” reinforcing the administration’s tough new stance.

Border Patrol Chief Mike Banks appears next, emphasizing the sharp increase in enforcement under Trump. “If you cross the border, your chances of being apprehended are much greater, and if you are apprehended, you’re going to be removed from the country,” he warns. The video concludes with the unmistakable sound of a knock at the door, a voice shouting “United States Border Patrol! Open the door,” and an image promoting the new CBP Home app.

The CBP Home app, announced by President Trump in March, was designed to replace the controversial Biden-era CBP One app. Under Biden, the CBP One app allowed migrants to make dubious asylum claims and gain entry into the United States. Many of those claims were never properly vetted, and many migrants disappeared into the country without attending court hearings.

Breitbart’s John Nolte previously reported that the Biden administration’s abuse of the CBP One app was part of a broader effort to flood blue states with new populations after massive internal migration away from Democrat-run states like New York and California. Illegals were counted in the U.S. Census, helping those states protect their political power by preserving congressional seats and Electoral College votes.

Trump’s CBP Home app flips that system on its head. Instead of helping illegal immigrants stay in the country, it provides an easy path for them to voluntarily leave. Trump said at the time of the launch, “People in our country can self-deport the easy way or they can get deported the hard way, and that’s not pleasant.”

The president emphasized that those who choose not to leave voluntarily will face a much tougher process involving detention and removal by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.

This new push comes amid a string of aggressive immigration moves by the Trump administration, including mass ICE raids in Florida, executive orders blocking sanctuary cities from receiving federal funds, and the reinstatement of Trump’s signature “Remain in Mexico” policy.

The self-deportation campaign is a significant part of Trump’s broader plan to sharply reduce the number of illegal aliens in the country. According to officials, self-deportation not only eases the burden on ICE but also saves taxpayer money by reducing the need for detention and deportation proceedings.

Critics, of course, have blasted the new program, calling it “cruel” and “inhumane.” But supporters argue that after years of disastrous open border policies under Joe Biden, tough measures are necessary to restore law and order.

Trump’s message to illegal aliens could not be clearer: Go home now while you can — or face being found and forcibly removed.

The administration has promised that more enforcement videos, public service announcements, and CBP Home app promotions will be released in the coming weeks.

If the early reaction is any indication, the campaign is already having an impact. ICE officials reported an uptick in self-deportation inquiries immediately following the video’s release.

The Trump team appears determined to deliver on one of its central promises: restoring the rule of law at America’s borders.
