DOJ Drops Final Word On Epstein Case, Sparks Doubts
New Africa

The Department of Justice is closing the book on Jeffrey Epstein’s case, claiming once and for all that there was no “client list,” no blackmail operation, and no murder cover-up in the death of the convicted sex trafficker.

According to a newly released report, the DOJ concluded Epstein committed suicide, echoing what FBI Director Kash Patel stated months ago. The department also released surveillance footage showing no one entering or exiting Epstein’s jail cell during the 10 hours before he was found dead, bolstering the claim that no foul play was involved.

President Trump’s DOJ and FBI have declared there is no evidence that Epstein blackmailed powerful figures, kept a “client list,” or was murdered. A two-page memo obtained by Axios states the released footage supports the medical examiner’s determination of suicide.

There’s no question Epstein was a vile predator who took advantage of young girls, and his fate in prison was likely sealed the moment he was arrested. Facing the rest of his life behind bars and knowing the hatred fellow inmates have for pedophiles, it is believable that Epstein ended his own life to avoid facing justice.

But that doesn’t mean every American will accept this as the end of the story. The DOJ’s claim that Epstein had no “client list” has left many skeptical, considering the high-profile figures who were known to associate with him. It’s hard for many to believe Epstein was trafficking women and underage girls to no one, and that everyone who flew to his island was just there for a vacation.

Some of Epstein’s victims have provided names of powerful individuals who allegedly abused them, and while the DOJ may claim it lacks the evidence to pursue further prosecutions, this will not sit well with Americans who believe there’s more to the story.

While jokes about “Epstein didn’t kill himself” became common, they were rooted in serious concerns about accountability, transparency, and the influence of elites in protecting their own. The release of this memo and video may be the Trump administration’s attempt to put this matter to rest, but it leaves many questions unanswered.

It is likely the last official update the American people will receive on Epstein’s crimes, and if the administration is closing the door, there may be no one left with the power to dig deeper — even if there is more to uncover.

Conservatives should remember that the real issue is not only Epstein’s death but the broader corruption and evil he embodied. Whether or not this case is officially closed, the demand for truth and accountability remains, and Americans should not let elites off the hook simply because a government report tells them to move on.
