Billionaire Bill Ackman has made several controversial statements on his X account, including a claim that President Biden might be terminally ill. The 58-year-old investor has shared various theories about the president, who announced his withdrawal from the 2024 presidential race on Sunday.
Ackman has raised concerns about Biden’s health and the authenticity of a letter announcing his departure. Speculation has been fueled by comments from Biden’s youngest brother, Frank, who expressed a desire to cherish “whatever time we have left.” This choice of words has led to rumors about Biden’s health.
Conspiracy theorists have questioned the letter’s authenticity, with some suggesting that Biden’s signature appeared to be photocopied. Ackman has continued to promote these theories on his X page, pointing out discrepancies in Biden’s signature over time. Ackerman’s examples include posts from others showing previous instances of Biden’s signature, demonstrating that it was not underlined. He also mentions that Biden’s letter was not on an official letterhead, which is another reason why he claims Biden may be terminally ill.
Lmao there’s no way Biden didn’t even sign the letter 😭 pic.twitter.com/RGRRb6QrCQ

Frank Biden has stated that his brother’s health was a factor in his decision to withdraw. Despite assurances from officials that Biden is in good health, including visits from a top Parkinson’s specialist, Ackman and others remain skeptical.
The president, who has been isolating with COVID-19 at his Rehoboth Beach home, made the announcement via social media. The decision came amid declining poll numbers and increased pressure from donors and party members.
Following Biden’s withdrawal, Kamala Harris announced her candidacy for the Democratic nomination. Several prominent Democrats, including California Governor Gavin Newsom, have voiced their support for Harris.
In swing states and even in states that have recently been reliably blue, Harris outperforms Biden in polling, even when she’s trailing overall. In Pennsylvania, she is just one point behind Trump at 48-47, surpassing Biden, who trails Trump 48-45. In Virginia, Harris leads Trump by five points, while Biden’s lead over Trump was only four points.
The latest polls were conducted before the assassination attempt on former President Trump and before Biden withdrew from the race. According to the New York Times, national polling averages indicate that Harris was trailing Biden by 48 to 46 percent. Trump has already stated that he believes Harris will be easier to defeat than Biden.
