In today’s politics, something funny happens: white liberals twist themselves up trying to defend and excuse everyone else but themselves. They’re so busy looking out for others that they forget their needs. They’re doing a weird dance where they put everyone else first and themselves last.

A knife attack in Mannheim, Germany, shocked the nation as a video streamed live by a critic of Islam captured the assailant stabbing six individuals. The first victim, identified as Michael Sturzenberger, known for his outspoken anti-Islamic views, suffered injuries to his face and leg but is thankfully expected to recover. However, one police officer was sent to the hospital in critical condition after being stabbed in the back by the assailant but succumbed to his injuries later on.

Sturzenberger, a 59-year-old blogger with hard-right affiliations, was participating in a demonstration organized by the Citizens’ Movement Pax Europa (BPE) when the attack occurred. The assailant, identified as a bearded man with glasses, targeted Sturzenberger amidst the crowded market square.

Sturzenberger, no stranger to controversy, has faced legal repercussions in the past for his inflammatory statements regarding Islam. However, no individual deserves to be subjected to such violence, regardless of their beliefs or affiliations.

Despite the swift response from bystanders and law enforcement, the attack resulted in multiple injuries and sparked fear among onlookers. The assailant, who was eventually subdued by police, is now under investigation for possible political motives behind the assault.

The aftermath of the attack has prompted reactions from political figures, with Chancellor Olaf Scholz condemning the violence and calling for justice to be served. However, the incident has also reignited debates surrounding freedom of speech and the limits of criticism, particularly in religion.

Sturzenberger’s journey from a journalist to a prominent figure in anti-Islam movements reflects the complexities of ideological radicalization and the impact of personal experiences on political beliefs. While his views may be controversial, resorting to violence as a means of silencing dissent is unacceptable in any civilized society.
