President Donald Trump has made a point to not concede the election, despite the news media calling it in favor of his opponent, Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden, in the aftermath of historically close vote tallies across the nation.

The president has taken a page from former President George W. Bush’s book in his persistence in pursuing the legal battles that could overturn some preliminary judgments on who has won crucial states.

Anyone who has followed the news knows that Americans are waiting with bated breath to see how elections in Arizona, North Carolina, Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin will turn out, with the ultimate belief that they will decide the outcome of the whole election.

However, according to White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany on Friday, the president will only concede the election after all of his legal challenges have concluded.

McEnany held a press conference Friday where she took questions for the first time since Oct. 1, according to The Daily Caller. The press secretary fielded questions from a rowdy group of reporters, including Playboy Reporter Brian Karem who repeatedly shouted at McEnany, asking “when are you gonna admit you lost?”

The president addressed the supposed win by Biden on Twitter, saying “He only won in the eyes of the FAKE NEWS MEDIA. I concede NOTHING! We have a long way to go. This was a RIGGED ELECTION!” Trump tweeted hours after declarations of victory rang out for Biden.

“He won because the Election was Rigged,” said another tweet. The president has questioned poll workers, mail-in ballot handling, and vote-tabulating equipment which has highly suspect origins, for his loss.

Trump has received massive pushback from the left, including other former presidential candidates, according to The Hill.

“The idea that he continues to tell his supporters that the only reason he may have lost this election is because of fraud is an absolutely disgraceful, un-American thing to do,” said Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

“I would just hope to God that he has the decency in him to man up and say, ‘You know what? We fought hard, we lost the election, good luck to Joe Biden, I love America.’

“But the fact that he’s not even cooperating in the transition, the fact that he continues to deny reality, continues to suggest that Biden has illegally won the election, is beyond belief in terms of behavior for an American president,” he said.

former national security adviser to the president, John R. Bolton, who has recently become a harsh Trump critic, said Sunday that the president’s claim of election fraud is “all a blue smoke and mirrors.”

“This is a character test for the Republican Party. I don’t buy the argument that Donald Trump has hypnotized Republican voters or that they’re not capable of accepting the truth,” he said on ABC’s “This Week.”

According to Bolton, Trump’s campaign doesn’t actually have evidence of vote tampering to use in its expensive legal offensive in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia Arizona, and other states.

“Their basic argument is this was a conspiracy, so vast and so successful that there’s no evidence of it,” said Mr. Bolton. “Now, if that’s true, I really want to know who the people are who pulled this off. We need to hire them at the CIA. The fact is, this is all a blue smoke and mirrors, and I think people will accept that if they see leaders they respect explain it.”

In the interim, however, the president has continued his pursuit of freedom in the face of the coronavirus

“This administration will not be going to a lockdown,” the president said going on to assure Americans that “whatever happens in the future, who knows which administration will be. I guess time will tell. But I can tell you, this administration will not go to a lockdown. Lockdowns cost lives.”
